Bugle Call 2012 will be hosting a whole bunch of exciting events that you can come and try for free! Here are some of the highlights so far, with more yet to come... 


Incursion: Doomsday

28mm scale.
 Armoured troopers of the US 'Lucky 7th' battle the monstrous forces of the German SWD in a furious race against time. The insane Dockor Von X has completed his mighty Weltgericht rocket, and the countdown is ticking down... to the end of the world! Presented by Little Soldiers.

Watch for 'in progress' reports from Martin's Models as this scenic table comes together, including the creation of the Weltgericht rocket from a... Lavalamp?!

Fields of Glory: Ancients

"Citizens! Rome is your fwend!!" 
Well, that's unless you happen to be standing against the might of Imperial Rome - then you might have a fight on your hands - and we do! Come and try matching wits with the best generals the Ancient World has to offer! Fields of Glory is a superb set of wargaming rules brought to us by Osprey Publishing, best known for their excellent series of historical military reference works. Ross Dawe, rightly famed for his great demonstration games, is presenting this opportunity to come and learn Fields of Glory, and begin your march on (or on behalf of,) Rome!

Star Trek: Vigilant (Star Fleet: A Call to Arms)

At the start of the turbulent period known as The General War, the forces of the Klingon Empire rammed home a massive attack aimed at the heart of the United Federation of Planets. Standing like a fortress in their path - Starbase Vigilant.
Can the Klingon fleet overwhelm the defenders of Vigilant before the Federation Star Fleet relief force arrives?

Battlefield: Evolution

20mm scale. A superb participation game of World War Two armoured combat, at a size and scale that both old and new wargamers can enjoy! At the height of the Russian counter-attacks of 1944, the forces of Nazi Germany struggle to hold back the red tide of communist retaliation! A great game, especially for anyone who has never played an historical wargame before. Recommended!

Warmachine / Hordes: Last Stand at Greyaxe Pass

 Seen Warmachine or Hordes? Wondered if you can 'Play like you've got a Pair?' Time to experience some steam-powered, heavy-metal mayhem! Last Stand at Greyaxe Pass sees a multitude of the nations of the Warmachine universe pitted against one another for your gaming pleasure. Presented by 'Pressganger' Nic Equid.

Carnage & Glory 2 

15mm scale. Computer-moderated wargaming in the Horse and Musket era, (The Seven Years War to be precise,) This is a great opportunity to experience historical wargaming at its most detailed and colourful. No previous experience in the tactics or weapons of the 18th Century required! Why not put down the boltgun and power sword for a couple of hours, and get some blackpowder gunsmoke in your eyes?
